So...what'd you think of it? (Assuming, of course, you watched the other two acts.)

(I LIKED IT!)

In short: it is funny, sad, and probably better free.

It's so funny. I was giggling alot. Even in the big-finish number, when everything's kinda sad, it turns out that yes, bad horse really is a horse, and I have to admit I chuckled.
But felt bad. And that's what I really liked about Buffy the Vampire Slayer. On TV you can tell one thing with dialogue and show a different thing with the action, and I'm happy Dr. Horrible is still doing that.
It would've been easy to get bogged down in the apathy of dr. horrible and how everyone else was affected by penny's death, but the ending shows all that without drastically altering a light and musical course.

wow. i just liked it.

:)

(no, i thought it was quirky and sad and in the end i was glad that dr. horrible still got to be dr. horrible.) (i wasn't super sad about penny though...that had to happen, otherwise she would have totally messed up dr. horrible's plans!)

well they could have killed cpt. hammer. (and I totally love seeing Nathan Fillion in the television, so this is a stretch for me) I think the "superhero du jour" would be a neat spin on "this week batman foils the plans of..."

Maybe Dr. Horrible could have killed Cpt. Hammer, and the next episode could have Penny as the superhero. That'd be totally angsty and the-love-that-should-not-be.

Right up Joss Whedon's alley.
